Leanne N. Rodgers, Psy.D., PC
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
I have a warm and collaborative approach to therapy, and I view the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for positive change and growth. I strive to create a supportive and validating environment that allows you the freedom to explore who you are and repair what may be holding you back. Together, we will explore the emotional and behavioral impacts of your past experiences and their role in your life today. I have found that the process of discovering yourself allows for a deeper appreciation of your values, strengths, and resilience. It also helps you define areas for self improvement.
Together, we will explore your current coping skills, behavioral patterns and emotional triggers. We will then work to develop new skills and create new opportunities that align with your personal goals and desire for growth. I believe that discovering who you are, and how you operate in the world, leads to a deep and compassionate knowing of the self. Ultimately, this leads to more self confidence, more satisfying relationships, and a happier life in general. I truly enjoy what I do, and I value the opportunity to work with you to find the best version of yourself.
The focus on my practice has been primarily working with older adolescents, college students (undergraduate and graduate), and young professionals. My clinical specialties include anxiety, depression, grief/ loss, trauma, body image concerns, and perfectionism. My areas of interest include personal growth, identity development, redefining relationships, family issues, and life transitions.
