FAQs

How can I get started in therapy?

I encourage you to reach out with a call or an email. At that time I can answer any questions you might have, along with finding out what brings you to therapy. From there we can schedule an initial consultation.

What can I expect from therapy?

While therapy varies from person to person, we will start with discussing your goals and needs. Some people come to therapy to work on a specific issue, and meet for a shorter period of time until their concern is resolved. Others benefit from weekly sessions over a longer period of time. Sometimes, especially those experiencing a crisis or particularly challenging time, additional support is needed. Throughout the process, I will work with you to make sure you feel you are accomplishing your goals.

Do you provide in person or telehealth services?

Yes. Both in person or telehealth appointments are available. Telehealth sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform or by phone.

How long is each therapy session?

Each therapy session lasts 50 minutes. The initial consultation may take longer to identify your goals for therapy and to determine if I am the right therapist for you.

Do you accept insurance?

I am a preferred in network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Aetna Student Health through Northwestern University. I also see clients who wish to pay privately or use out of network benefits through alternative insurance.

Where is your office located? Is parking available nearby?

The office is located in downtown Evanston on the corner of Davis Street and Chicago Avenue. The address is 600 Davis Street, Suite 3E. Metered parking is available on the street.
